Default CEL code 43

ok i don't get it i replaced my fuel filter with a new one today and i went to start the car..it started fine then after a min the CEL came on and gave me the code 43 fuel supply I'm lost can anyone help me out

Did you reset the ECU to clear the previous code?

Code 43 is usually set by a lazy primary O2 sensor (they have a service life of 75-90k miles and decrease pretty fast if the car was running rich or burning oil/coolant).

yea i know i just replaced the o2 sensor to when i did this lol come to think of it i did them the same day and yea o unhooked the battery for 5 mins then started it and then it through the 43 code but no o2 sensor code now

What kind of O2 sensor? If it wasn't OEM, did you have to wire it up or did it come with an OEM connector?

haha i bought a bouch i am short on cash right now but yea i did wire it up with the OEM connector i am hoping i wired it righ tho

from what i have read about and saw this is how i wired it

OEM........./........Boush
White...........Black signal wire
blk/grn.........gray ground
blk/wht.........white heater wire
blk/yel..........white heater wire

It's more than likely your problem. Bosch O2's don't mix well with Honda ECU's - they seem to respond too slowly thus causing the CEL you have.

well i dont have the cash for a new oem one thats anywhere from $160-$295 here is there any other ones that will work. the thing thats sucks is i am saving for wide band and then this happens
