fuel supply problem
its a stock 92 dx. i have not had any problems yet but my cel is on code 43.
what could casue this problem.

i believe that's a good indicator you need an o2 sensor

so this isnt an urgent issue then? is it even worth fixing if the motor is only gonna be in for another month or so?

well i drove to the mall, it was bogging out and almost stalling, then when it stopped bogging tons of white smoke blew out
then when i finally park the car, it was bogging, i tried to give it a rev, loads of white smoke again, then stalled, now it wont start

any ideas??

btw the car used to bogg whenever it rained... that started like2 months ago

white smoke=not good!!!

drain the engine oil and check to make sure there is no anti freeze in there.
if there is congratulations you have a bad headgasket.

if its a bad head gasket then why code 43??

I got the same code for a bad distributor. The eg's are known for distributor problems.

regardless white smoke aint good and you should still check the oil

if you had a bad head gasket then the antifreeze that you would be trying to burn off in your oil could clog your converter or ruin an 02 sensor and in turn throw a cel!
