CEL code 14 help
I did the paperclip trick to find out why my check engine light is on in my 99 si and it is a code 14. My car idles and pulses around 1500 rpm. I checked the IAC valve and it wasn't dirty at all. I unplugged it and replugged it and it fit snug. Reset the computer and after a little while it came back on. I would clean it but it doesn't look dirty in my opinion. Is there something special you use to clean the IAC valve? Could there be something else that I could check on why its throwing codes? I dunno if this makes a difference but my friends and I replaced my clutch recently and it didn't throw a code until the day after we replaced the clutch. Any ideas?
Edit: I figured out the problem but now the car idles a little low, around 500-600. Can anyone direct me to where that idle screw is? Thanks.
