CEL after i get on the throttle.
 

ill post in the tech forum also but here ya go.


I just put my motor together it is a gsr with type r tranny just rebuilt it. and I have an oil pan the it leaking from the gasket. it is warped. ill get a new one soon. anyway do you guys have any idea what may cause my CEL to come on only after I get on it? it is only up after 8400 RPM (it goes to 9000).


I was thinking the pressure could have pushed through the oil pan gasket and caused a drop in oil press to cause it but wouldn't it throw an oil light?

what code is it throwing?

i cant get the code cause it will not flash after i turn the car off and use the jumper. and it will not come back on till i get on it. also now it smells like burn plastic(nothing is on the bottom of the car,,,I.G plastic bags)

how bout this, try not reving ur engine to 8400, thats real high and you shouldnt need to go there (if it goes to 9000, that is def. red lining it)
