which is primary oxygen senosor heater. How do I fix this?
I would just replace the O2 sensor, but my car is gettng the same mpg. I have been having a problem since this light has been on. The problem is the car acts like a fuel filter is clogged. I will bog down at random times, and if I ever get it over 4000rpms, it will shoot a black smoke cloud out the tailpipe. My 94 ex civic coupe is complete stock. I just want to fix this problem, since I deliver pizzas in it until I save up enough to put on the 1000000 upgrades I have for her on.

Re: cel #41 (EJ1 LS guy)
I believe thats can either be a short in the wire or a faulty o2. My freind had this problem we just replaced it and the code went away. The strange thing is that the code never came on right away it was always after driving a couple miles, even without resetting the ecu.

Re: cel #41 (y2kferari)
btw. I have a small hole in the header before the o2 sensor, will that leak effect the o2? And I also need to replace my battery, its 8 years old and done with, I have to keep push starting my car until my battery comes in.
