Default CEL 41

i replaced the o2 sensor and disconnected the negative from battery to reset the cel and i still get the same cel. did i replace the o2 sensor with another bad o2 sensor?

You replaced the 2nd o2 right? It is possible you replaced it with a bad one. Also, how long did you have the neg. disconnected?

second o2 sensor? i replaced the one on my dc header. had the negative off for 30 seconds or more

can that be the reason i failed my test?

Oh man sorry I was thinking it was the secondary o2. Wiring may be bad, that might cause it.

wiring from the o2 sensor to the ecu? how can i find out if the wires are bad?

And if you have a multi-meter, you could check the heater resistance to see if you do indeed have another bad O2 heater.
