CEL 13 (Atmospheric Pressure) - looked at the self diagnostic...Please help me!
Ok, recently I have been throwing a CEL 13 on my '99 SI, which is Atmospheric Pressure (PA Sensor). Does anyone know where this PA Sensor is? Has anyone thrown this code and remidied it?
Could a bad map sensor cause a CEL 13? When i reset the ECU, it doesn't come back for 40-60 miles, which is making it kinda hard for me to get to "OBD2 Readiness" for emissions
PLEASE Help!!! i have to go to get my emissions done this week and have to go through the OBD2 Drive Cycle before i hitup the emissions place! THANKS ALOTTT!

From what Ive read...the sensor itself is in the ecu, and you have to be certified to replace it. If reseting the ecu doesnt work...you may need a new one. Anything happen recently or in the past to your ecu ie. water damage, dropping it etc.

Re: CEL 13 (Built to Spill)
Nope, nothing recently w/ the ECU. Just bored out my spare tb and put that on a couple weeks ago though. I never ran this throttle body before it was bored. Could it have to do w/ the MAP Sensor?
However, i have been using the Greddy Blue Box FMU for the past year and a half w/ no problems. Is there anything i could try to remedy this?
I looked at the self diagnostic and it says that if it disapears after i reset the ECU, then it is an intermittant failure, and that the sensor isn't broken yet.

I had this problem too. I have a Greddy Kit on my integra and i have read that the blue box will cause this code. No one has ever found a cure for it. Its not your ecu going bad or any thing its just a bug in the system. It does not hurt performance or anything its just ******* annoying. The only way i can think of to get rid of it is change to 0bd1 ecu. Im not even positive that will work but im pretty sure it would. You might also try putting your boost at the lowest psi you can. It seemed to not come on as often when i did this. Sorry i cant help more. I know how shitty that is.

THanks for the link.
I am running a Greddy Blue box, as opposed to the Emanage however... I can't program it or anything. Funny thing is it never threw this code before.

No prob
It is weird how the code randomly pops up. I would get rid of the FMU anyways...they suck

Yeah, its pissing the hell out of me. my only concern is emissions, i dont want that damn CEL there
Does yours also seem to come on every 40-60 miles, randomly? Its not even when i boost sometimes... it just comes on randomly in 5th gear most of the time. You think my car would be be okay driven 30 miles from resetting the ECU for OBD2 Readiness?

I dont know if it would make it 30 miles or not. On my car that thing was random as ****. I might drive 20 minutes or 20 seconds and it would bling up. I dont get it. I have code 45 now rich or lean code and im like what ever. I live in good old oklahoma so no emissions for me . Yet.

Re: CEL 13 (jdmtegra666)
Update: I tried that thing that i belive Flamenco-T suggested to do, which was to put it in neutral while driving then drop it in 2nd or 3rd gear and punch it. I was kinda skeptical as to how that would work, but what the hell right? I gave it a try and what do you know, after 200 miles no code 13. I passed my emissions w/ flying colors for HT & the search feature!
