CEL??
00 civic Si
my CEL came on ramdomly while slowing down for a stoplight. as the CEL came on the idle jumped up to 1500 rpm. the idle will drop down to normal level when i take it out of gear, then will go up to 1500 and will bounce a little bit between about 1400 and 1500. why would this happen?
any help is appreciated
i'm thinking at might be something to do with injectors or something i'm going to try seafoaming it tomorrow. i have never seafoamed before.
thanks

it means there is a problem with your idle air control valve.
check the connector, clean the valve itself. im pretty sure its located on the bottom of the throttle body.
