That's a low-quality, cheap, knock-off. I wouldn't trust it. You also won't notice any real HP gains from it either.

^ Just save up a little bit more and get something reliable.

Look on the muffler where the hangars meet the muffler...those welds are HORRIBLE. The base on the right side of the muffler hangar has a massive gap between the weld and the hangar itself where it meets...if you can spot really really cheap welds on the best display model they decided to take pics of...you can only expect the actual product goes downhill.

LOL at this thread. Do people even try to search anymore? I am sure this has been covered 100's of times.

With exhausts, you usually get what you pay for.

I would only run that piping . ebay piping is fairly decent quality and bends are nice for pricing + stainless retains heat better = more velocity and also cools faster. that muffler is garbage w/ w/o silencer but even the real muffler apexi n1 are garbage or too loud for my taste

Hmmm...not bad. Maybe I can cut a deal with a local guy...do some body work for 'em or something in trade for some exhaust work. I was thinking a shop would be a little more. I guess I'll have to start asking around here.

Sounds like you've got a plan.

For the OP. Regarding on the price, it just depends on the shop. I did a little research, checked with a few local shops, then found one I liked and worked with them a little. Anything that is labor/skill specific always needs to be approached the proper way. If I would have walked in off the street my best bet would be that the shop would have tried to pull a fast one and charged more than normal.
