Default Catalytic converter question

I am about to replace my exhaust with evo full catback and I noticed the stock cat has this rattling sound, that it seemed it has some tiny metals inside.

Do I need to replace my stock cat because of this? I am clueless what those are...prolly deposits or something?

Also, if I need to replace the cat, do I need aftermarket ones since I will upgrade to full catback anyways?

Thanks

you dont need to go aftermarket, OEM is ok with cat back but is pricey where aftermarket hi flows are farely cheap

you sure the rattling is on the inside of the cat or the heat shield around it??

yeah i took the cat out already and removed the heat shield, so Im pretty sure it's from the inside of the cat that has the small mesh wires..

ive seen some hi flows in ebay for fairly cheap ..prolly they are not good? (u get what u pay 4) motto

i got a Type X from SHMotorsports.com and it cost like $100 and i am happy with it but i had to get an o2 simulator because of it (another $30 but no more CEL)

i wouldnt buy from ebay for this but count on an extra $30 for a simulator down side to it i guess unless you pay a feww hundred for the ones that garuntee no CEL
