Default Catalytic Converter for ITR Swap into EJ1

Hello. I am in the middle of swapping out my D16 with an 96spec B18cR and had a quick question. Is there an oem catalytic converter that would bolt straight up to the ITR header and my EJ aftermarket catback system? Would an Integra cat work?

Was originally planning to visit a muffler shop to have it connected (as what most people do I believe, from my research) but don't want to wait until Monday to do so.

Thanks!

No, you would have to extend your exhaust or your catalytic to bolt those two together.

Whats the measurement between your header and exhaust? 16 5/8 - 17" ?

Your thinking of the B18C/B18C1 OEM header, the ITR header is the same length as a B16 header. I pull my B16 header off and bolted my ITR header straight to my JDM cat, which was 12" BTW. I made no exhaust system changes aside from swapping to ITR header and swapping from 12" long 2.25" JDM cat to a 12" long 2.5" JDM cat.

Between the header and cat? Or do you mean from the header to the catback system? Either way, don't know yet. Haven't dropped in the engine yet (working on my wire tuck). Let you know when I do.

Sorry for the late reply, been very busy lately. Anyway, dropped the engine in and found that the header matches up to the cat, but it was too large and the holes didn't line up. Ended up making a custom bracket thing to bolt it up until I get a chance to visit a muffler shop. Will probably get a universal Magnaflow and have the shop weld on some flanges for me. Or if I find a USDM ITR cat, I'll go with that.

Thanks again.
