Cat-Back for mini me
Ok so i dont have an aftermarket header and my cat is part of my exhaust manifold (d16y7/y8 mini me). If i bought a cat-back of say 2.5 in diameter would it bolt up to my cat without modification?

It won't bolt up to your cat at all, it bolts to the downpipe that comes off your cat. You will have a hard time finding a 2.5" ready-made system, most are 2.36" (60mm) which frankly is plenty for a D16 without even a header. The systems you buy like Apexi or Greddy will come ready-to-install. They step down right at the flange where it meets the stock downpipe.
Of course, for a mini-me you should use a header or you will choke the head with the Y7 exhuast manifold.
