cat back ?

i got a 96 coupe ex and i was woundering if it's worth buying those 150 dollar cat back systems from ebay? or should i just invest in something better? i was also wondering which cat back systems come with the exhaust tip slanted at the end or does it have to be done at a muffler shop?
