Re: carsound cat do i need w/ air or not? does my cat have an o2 sensor (EGcivicBoy)
95 civic doesn't have a second o2... there's just the one in the header/exhaust manifold...
But that shouldn't affect whether or not there's an air inlet...
Regardless you don't have an air inlet on your stock one...
Nor does my catco direct fit for my 93.

Re: carsound cat do i need w/ air or not? does my cat have an o2 sensor (SkyeC)
here's some more info...
The inlet there is for (like SkyeC mentioned) cars equiped with "air pumps"...

In addition to catalytic converters, auxiliary air pumps and exhaust gas recirculation valves are used in U.S. specification cars to further reduce emissions. Air pumps increase the catalytic process, whereas exhaust gas recirculation devices re-route small amounts of exhaust gasses back into the combustion chamber to either be re-burned or to help reduce combustion chamber temperature. The significance of this latter function will be further explained in my next article.</TD></TR></TABLE>
