Re: Carpet (Blackrain)
okay, i won't give you a hard time, but you don't remove your carpet. Besides it's one piece and you cant just remove that section. You remove your center console and the adjustment point is beneath that. Happy adjusting!

Acutally sorry I wasn't clear enough... I wan't to reach the point where the cables come into your chassis !! Which you can't reach under the armrest... so I must lift my carpet in the back in order to get to that point !!

Okay.. obvioulsy I wasn't clear enough...
I know where the hole are on the civic.. the picture I showed you IS NOT MINE but.. I wan't to be able to reash the SAME area on the pic... hence I must lift my rear carpet (as seen on the picture) but I have no idea how to "unclip / lift" my carpet the same way they did. Do I have to remove my rear seats ?! Any special clips I should know of ?! Etc.
Thanx and sorry !

Re: Carpet (Blackrain)
You have to remove the bottom rear seats. Then there are about 3 or 4 clips that hold the carpet down. They look like round buttons.

Re: Carpet (FF-Panda)
1. Remove the armrest. There are 4 bolts that hold it in place. (might be easier to get to if you remove your seats)
2. Lift the rear seat. The rear seat bottom is held in place with a few clips. If you just lift up on it from the front, it should raise up about an inch after the clips come out of the wholes they are in.
3. Remove the 3 plastic fasteners holding the carpet in. If you look under the rear seat where the carpet ends you will see 3 plastic fasteners. I usually just work these plastic tabs out with needle nose pliers. Seems to work ok.
4. Pull the carpet out from side trim.
5. Look at the pretty e-brake cables.
Hope this helps.

Re: Carpet (Blackrain)
Next time you might want to make your title a little more specific. "Carpet" doesn't really beckon me to enter your thread. Maybe "How do I remove my carpet?" might have been a little better.
