Carbon fiber hoods and b-series engines on my eh3

Alright so I've read the write up on how the new VIS hoods don't clear b-series swaps in 92-95 Civics, but now I want to know who out there with a b-series swap has a carbon hood and what brand did they get?
In todd's thread I couldn't find anything posted by people stating what people have done other than scouring for an older VIS hood. I'm really worried about straying from VIS because that's the only brand other than like Spoon that people say has consistantly amazing weave and fit around the edges.

When I had a cf hood, I used Fiber Images and had no problems with fitment or clearance. It was much lighter than the VIS hood, which is why I bought the hood originally.

ummm not that I'm a stupid ricer or anything (which I am), but how was the weave?

To be honest, I never really paid attention to it. It wasn't uneven or anything, it didn't have the rolled edges like the my friends with the VIS version, but it was much lighter than theirs, which is all I cared about.

Fiber Images is a brand worth getting. Nice weave all the way to the edges. Light-weight plus you can run over it and it will still be fine. These hoods can take a beating. Only thing about the Fiber Images hood (as far as for the 92-95 Civics) is that they don't come with the holes for the windshield squiters and the price is a bit high. Spoon CF hoods are just way too expensive. At least, as far as I've seen. $1200's range. http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif

anybody know of a good brand that still has the rolled edges that'll clear my valve cover?
