I have a cf hood and cf duckbill spoiler on my eg. the hood still looks pretty good but the wing is starting to look like crap. Is there anything i can do? I was thinking about clear coating it. Maybe there is a wax that would bring it back to life? What do you guys think?

Have it buffed a few times, it might helped. Mothers step 2 has done wonders for my cf hood. If it still looks like **** after a couple of tries, then get it clearcoated.

It might be getting oxygen bubbles in it. Some companies that don't have quality machines leave some air in the CF when they mold it. It will come out eventually and make the CF piece look like it is discoloring or "fading" I've seen it happen on alot of cheap aftermarket wings.

I used a clay bar on mine. Then a good wax. Helped a lot. It still looks like a cheap wing though. You get what you pay for.
