Default Carbon Fiber, Do we have to much? hood, fenders, spoiler, mirrors, stripped... light! light!

So I own a new GSX and a prelude im selling in the for sale forum, but my buddy and i have been building this civic hatchback... were trying to make a really light daily driver while running an h22a swap...

So far this is what we have done:

---1994 civic hatch back---
eletron blue paint
fiber images CF hood
fiber images CF rear hatch door
fiber images CF spolier (duck bill)
fiber images CF type R style front lip
fiber images CF eyebrows
APR f1 style mirrors
stripped everything behind the front seats. (rear seats, carpet, plastic etc, spare etc.)
civic SI rims
civic SI rear tail lights
one piece head lights

what we are wondering is what other mods can we do to lighten up this ride that wont sacrafice the cars practicality of daily driving???

this comming spring a 97+ H22A will be dropped in place of the D16z6 in it now.
unless we decide to turbo the current engine... differant topic i guess....

adding a carbon fiber spoiler, lip, and eyebrows didn't do anything to reduce your car's weight......... it only minimized the weight gain

strip the paint, punch holes in the bumper, rip out a/c and p/s (if applicable).... if you're serious about lightening that car you're not showing it....

lightweight battery - best bang for your buck and the most commonly overlooked weight reducing item.

no door panels....cut the metal to the door panels out...you can cut alot of the interior metal webbing, alot of **** behind the dash, only keep the wires you need, cut the a/c o ut.................no bummper supports, rear difussor, 1 seat, need a cage of course if you do all this, u can get that car to 2000lbs or less easy with this and there is alot more I left out I"m sure...

Seats are good. Lexan rear window is good, but not if you want to keep your electric defrost. Lexan quarter windows are worthless. I saved almost 2 lbs with mine! Get rid of the sound deadening stuff from the firewall and the tar. Battery as was mentioned. Getting rid of the driver/passenger side windows and mechanics wouldn't be a bad idea, but again, not as a dialy driver

Can you post some pics of your car? Interested in seeing pics of the APR mirrors mounted on an EG, also the CF rear hatch.
