Carbon Fiber
Is there any difference between the name brand carbon fiber hoods? What should i look for when buying one or are they all the same?

there definitly not all the same. some have good fitment and some fit like complete garbage. i havent had a problem with v.i.s. but most of the ebay comapnies and what not are poop when it comes to both quality and fitment.

diffrent types of carbon weave, diffrent backing material, diffrent layup ways
there are like 5 diffrent ways to lay carbon fiber
pre-pregnated being the most difficult,lightestest, most expensive ans strongest.
random fact a nicley set up pre-pregnated pieace of carbon fiber has a higher tensile strength than low carbon steel

-wet layup
-wet layup vacumn bagged
-dry layup (pre-pregnated)
there are like 5 diffrent ways to lay carbon fiber
