i think they are the splitters that go on the front of the bumper to put downforce on the front....

i want to get some for my hatch for the mountains.. seems like it would be a good idea

Usually rivits... but people around here have been known to ghetto it up with screws or even bolts!

... by here I mean where I live.

which hatch are u putting it on? eg or ek? if its an eg i think they look pretty nice with spoon lip i remember one guy on honda-tech was making canards for 92-95 civic hatchs and they looked nice

im pretty sure they are meant to get air flow to the brakes, keeping them cool in the process. They are completely useless on a street car. Maybe if you were racing in the Le Mans you might want to consider them.

yah figuring why would they be on the outside of the bumper??? when the brakes would get no air from them??? im also pretty damn shure they are for downforce.. and when your going about 80- 110 through the mountains im shure it would help..

they are meant for downforce and we used to have that same car in the pic.... i miss jtd

they serve to purpose to a daily driven civic.. of all things... they are totally for show.. buy them if you can just **** money or else dont waste your time....
