Car wont stay running

Car wont stay running
I have a automatic 93 honda civic and it is a daily driver. I started my car one day drove a quarter mile down the road and it died on me. So i figure my main relay was bad because I smelled wire burning. Then I took my ECU out and opened it come to find out my ECU caught fire but none of the wires leaving it did. Now my car starts but wont stay started, unless i give it gas but it still stalls after a few minutes. Can anyone tell me the problem? I thought it might be the Ignition Control modual, or the IACV. I cleaned the IACV and it still did not work. Anything that comes to mind would be great. Thanks.

Re: Car wont stay running
How old is the ignition coil? Is it OEM? Check it. A classic symptom of a dying coil is the car runs for several minutes but then dies after the warmup period.

I did not think about the ignition coil. I will try that when I get home. Is there anything else that it can be? I am on a deployment and I want to get all the parts befor I get home so I can get the car running. Also is anyone selling shocks and struts I need some of them as well? Thanks for all the help.
