I want to share this with you-all. I have seen numerous discussions related to cars not starting. They don't have any other problems other than they will not crank. I have found the solution to my son's problem, and it may help others as well.

After banging our heads for over a year on this it suddenly came to me to check the clutch interrupt switch. This in fact turned out to be the problem. There are two switches on his '95 Civic; one at the lower part of the arm and one way up at the top. It is the top one (the most difficult to reach) that you should look at.

I pulled out the switch and put in a paper clip to test the theory and we just decided to tape it in place. You could try adjusting the switch closer to the arm, replace the switch or bypass it as we did.

I hope this is useful to others.
