car wont start sometimes. now not starting at all
I have a 2000 civic si and for the past few days it will sometimes not start, all I'll have to do is wait like 10-15 minutes and try to start i again, then it'll start right up. I just recently installed an NX nitrous kit on and today found a very very tiny leak on one of the hoses that I sealed up. other then that I dont know what the problem is. I wouldnt know where to start but ANY help is appreciated. today I tried starting it and let it sit again for 10 minutes and it started, I decided to turn it off and see if it'll start again but it doesnt.
P.S. I will turn it on all the way with NO crank or anything, all the dash light comes on but once I try to start it nothing at all, no noise just blank. Kind of like trying to turn it on without pushing on the clutch, thats what it feels like. Could it be that pushing all the way on the clutch, somewhere the car deosnt read it or something? any help appreciated.

I don't think a bad coil would prevent the engine from cranking. Sounds silly but check to see if the stopper on the clutch pedal is still intact (or next time it doesn't start, trying pressing the clutch switch by hand and turning the key that way).

Yeahi was thinking that it could be the clutch safety switch also. Is this switch attached to the clutch or just somewhere behind the clutch? Any pictures by chance?

Oops, I misread that last part. It could possibly be the main relay. How old is the battery? It is quite possible that the battery has enough to turn the lights on but not enough to start the car.

Is my main relay located by mmy glove box? I tried starting it again and my main relay just started clicking like crazy. Any help?
