Car wont start!, Please help
guys, the car starts, then a hissing sound comes out of the engine bay, then it just dies. The cars engine is a d16y7 with a d16y8 head, the a/c pully belt is really really really tight, do you think that could be it? or do you think timing could be off? in that case, what do you suggest? I remembered to set the camshaft pully at tdc, and crank at tdc before putting on the timing belt. I am using a d16y8 timing belt on this minime. any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks

well it starts, it just screeches really really *** loud then dies, some people say its the alternator belt being too loose and the crank cant keep up with it so it just screeches and dies.

Why would a dead battery make a hissing sound?
What kind of hissing sound?

I turned the crank to check if my timing belt was snapped. Do I have to return everything back to TD
