car wont start please help
 
hi guys. well a friend and I just did a head swap on my Civic. we hoooked everything up right. all the vacumn lines all the hoses. all the wires are connnected. we got fuel, we got spark. but car just wont start. sometimes it'll sound like it wants to start but doesnt. anybody have any idea whats wrong? could it be the head is bad?

hows the dizzy, check to see if you ecu fuse is blown

Check your firing order. It ALWAYS gets me.

Firing order is right, did a valve adjustment, Timing lines up...car still wont start! http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif well its late now but ill try to clean the dizzy tomorrow and see if it'd work..but for now im stuck.

well then, since the firing order is right, fuel is right... it could be numerous things... here's a few things u can check up on... the igniter or ignition coil might be out... but the common thing on hondas is the main relay or the igniter. test ur fuel pump too.. let me know how things turned out... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

grab a haynes or chiltens + multimeter and test ur primaries and secondaries on the coil while hot and cold. Your testing for resistance (OHM's)
