Well i was installing my new deck today in my 94 del sol. And i ghetto rigged the wires, i connected everything right except i connected the yellow and red wires together which is ignition and power. That was the only way i can make my new deck work in my car, and there was no wire harness for my car anywhere from stores i can buy to connect it to my factory radio harness.. thats why i ghetto rigged it. But anyways, after i was done installing everything, i went to start my car and i noticed i have a check engine light now, so i went to crank the car over and the car would just try to start but it wont turn over? I also tried the Cell trick, on which i used a paper clip to check how many times my check engine light will blink, and that did not work at all! My check engine light just stayed solid without no blinks or nothing. And now im alittle confused.. I also disconnected all my radio wires and put it back the way it was, and i also disconnected my neg battery cable and i tried to start the car again and i still got a check engine light and the car still wont turn over? Any ideas?
