Car wont start after swap... no cel

Car wont start after swap... no cel
i swap out the dx to a z6 motor in my del sol. i'm using the dx harness. theres no cel, bat, or oil pressure light. all of the main fuses looks good. i have a v-afc hooked on before the swap, now it doesnt work? any ideas? thanks

i dont hear the fuel pump either. no lights show up on the cluster. the motor doesnt turn over. damn this is ticking me off

check all your grounds and make sure your battery terminals are clean and if your battery is fully charged

battery works... i even jumped the battery and still it doesnt start. only ground is the valve cover and thermostat right?

tranny ground also. you said you dont get any lights at all? if it is then you have corroded terminals

i have power... deck, lights, windows but no cel light, bat light or oil light thats suppose to come on when you start the car.

yeah, you ahve power, but it still sounds like a grounding issue. Add another ground wire and I'd put money on it starting. That or you have something messed up with the vafc wiring.
Why the vafc? Did you change to a p28 or still running the p06? Go after the grounds, then go from there. After doing almost 30 swaps, I've seen it all. I can almost garauntee you that will be your problem.

haha it was a ground. my dx motor didnt have a tranny ground so, i borrowed one from my bro's civic and tried to test it out and it worked. thanks for the help. everything works now the afc works too, but its coming out this weekend. i just bought a chipped p06 w/ vtec conversion. i still have to wire for vtec though. thanks
