Car won't start after rebuild.
I have a 95 Si with a d16y8 that just got rebuilt. I have the motor in, everything plugged in, all fluids, pretty much ready to go, and when I try to start it, nothing. I figure dead battery so I charge it overnight. Tried again this morning and nothing. A red circle with parentheses appear on the dash, not sure what that means. Could it be that my battery is just dead for good and time for a new one?

Do you hear the fuel pump prime?
Will the car even crank?
When I had my engine rebuilt it took a lot of cranks just to get it to fire, but once it did, I've had no problems.

Re: Car won't start after rebuild.
Found the problem, it was a ground after all, it had paint on the threads to it wasn't making contact, after I stripped it the problem was solved.
