Car Won't Start!
I have a 00 civic hatchback with a MT. I did the mini-me y8 swap with just the head and new iacv and throttle body. I also slapped on the edelbrock turbo kit. When all was said and done, i went to turn on the car and it won't start, it just windes up until the batterey dies. Theres also a fuse coming from the fuse box going to the injectors that blows everytime i go to turn it on. Anyone got any suggestions?
BTW, I check the ignition and i'm not getting any spark.

Re: (skunk2powered)
I found out the problem is coming from the engine managment system. The wires coming from the EMS goes to the fuse that blows even when we turn the car on, (not turning it over) I checked to make sure its a good ground and there are no wires exposed. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the distributer as well, but i was told from several sources that the d16y7 MT dizzy would work on a d16y8 head.

If your ecu fuse keeps blowing look at your O2 sensor and wiring. Had that happen b4. Will have a fire soon if not fixed.

Re: (murtnabila)
I called Edlelbrock and talked to a master tech and he claims that it has to be either the relay boxes, or the EMS. He told me he would send me both due to my warranty to figure out the problem and exclaimed he has never seen this problem before. We figured out if I start the car without the EMS it starts right up no problem. But when it starts up it idles really wierd... it goes up and down from 1k to 2k rpms. I just bought a new idle air control valve so i doubt that's the problem, could this be from the throttle body cable?? And whoever said check your fuel... i appreciate your concern, honestlly i do, but who does that?
