Default car wont start.

It all started one night, i let my brother practice on my car, he wanted to learn how to drive a stick, and as soon as he gets out he kicks a metal peice might of been the thing that holds the main relay but im not sure, but i checked the main relay i dont think there is any problems everything looks normal under there. But continuing my story i was driving on 580 towards oakland, and all of a sudden my car starts dying, all my lights came on, so i pulled off to the side n popped my hood n juggled the battery and it started agan so i drove to the nearest exit n called a friend we both looked at ti but it was to dark to tell anytinh but it was fine when i started again, but as soon as i got home the car did it again, lost power n just died. i tried to restart it , it cranked but it wont start, kept it crankin, but i had no success. Now its not even crankin no more, i tried to jump, when i crank it, it get s weaker and weaker n loses power. now when i crank it , it makes a sound that goes " tack tack tack tack" its like its trying to light but it wont catch or somethin.

I have a 92 honda civic hatchback with a D15B , i'm having trouble starting it, im not much of a mechanic so its pissin me off. it cranks for a little n then the sound of it when its crankin gets weaker n weaker then it becomes nothin n it just stops crankin. could b my battery or my distributor but, i thkink its more than that. I need help PLEASE. and if i do need a new distributor u think that if i get another distrubor from another D series would it work?

mine did that. it would crank and crank and then it would get weaker and weaker. i jumped it to another battery ad tried it but it only cranked but didnt get weaker.

start off by the basics.
is there fuel coming out?
is there spark?
i THINK its your ignition coil cuz that was my problem and we had the same symptoms.
but i could be wrong

stick your tongue to it haha. i would take a look at your main relay under your dash as well. I just had the same problem with my sisters car and replaced that and problem solved.... it is a $50 relay though.

put a philips in it deep, then lay it on the chassis so the metal almost touches the chassis, like a quarter of an inch away. then just start it up a couple of times and check it, you might need two people.

Please don't jump it anymore. Charge the damn battery for once give at least 12 to 24 hour slow charge.
