Default Car won't Start

I have a 97 civic 2dr and i recently just rebuilt the motor and had a head job done and i've been driving it since monday. I went out to start it this morning and it idled fine and i let it run for a min or two and then when i was backing up i stalled it. Now it won't start.... any ideas on what this could be. Fuel pump is still working i can hear it when i turn the power on. My battery is a little low from trying to start it, but it would still start with the juice it has. i'm all out of ideas

You might've flooded the engine. Hook a charger up to the battery so its got plenty of power for when you try to start it. Pull out a spark plug or 2 to see if they are wet. If they are, dry them of with air, put them back in and try again. If they look fine put them back in and try again. You might've waited long enough for the fuel to go away. Just make sure the battery is charged enough so the engine turns over pretty quick.

I checked and the plugs are wet and when i stick them back in and try and take them back out they are wet again. There is also a little puddle in the intake, It's a topmount intake. Should i dry out the intake and and plugs and let it sit over night?

Wet with gas? You should never have puddles in your intake. Maybe a injector is stuck on?

I leaned the gas out of the intake and dried the spark plugs and it starts now, but i notice that is has trouble idling. Sometimes it's fine and sometimes it wants to stall out or sometimes it's idling way too high. Any idea what would make the engine idle like this??

Totaly random? or is the rpm going up and down at steady intervals? How long did you let it run?
