car wont move and its in gear
ok i installed a new clutch and i was breaking it in today never hit over 5500rpms. so im in second then i engae the clutch and go into third and im guessing the throw bearing is stuck or the clutch stayed engaged. i can turn the car on in gear and go thru every gear and the car wont budge nor stall out. i got a good pedal still. so i wanna know how rare is the throw out bearing to get stuck and is this a likely cauz to my not not being able to drive lemme im trying to rule out a blown trans. also it grinds high rs like 75-7800rpms

I will bet that one of your axles popped out of the tranny.
When this happens the car won't move at all.
Dos your speedometer still register speed if you run the rpm up while in gear, clutch out? If it does then again likely one of the axles popped out. It may not have clicked all the way in - it's a very easy mistake, and thankfully very easy to fix.
Just try to determine which one popped out, then take the wheel off, move the spindle out of the way, and try to reclick the axle back into the tranny.
Do you see any tranny fluid coming out at either axle inner joint?

BTW if a throw out bearing seized it'd be a totally different set of symptoms. There would be a lot of noise coming from the tranny/clutch housing area.

Re: (taffettaek9)
pull and inspect the clutch
is sounds like a past problem that i had with a CC clutch
one of the springs on the pressure plate broke and popped out
sometimes it would drive normal and sometimes it wouldn't go in gear (like your problem)

Re: (taffettaek9)
pick up an exedy stg 1
more than what you need for now but if you drive hard you will like it
make sure to get the one with the Organic pads
like this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
and only $230 is not a bad price (what did you spend on that napa pos?)
my best friend has it in his car and loves it
96 civic with basic bolt ons (Intake, headers, exhaust, skunk 2 intake manifold, Frankenstein motor)
as for your fly wheel selection...
are you going NA or FI?
regardless IMHO 7.5lb will be to lite...
i run a 10lb fadanza fly.
if you go to light you will fall out of the power range when you shift due to the lighter rotating mass. given it will rev faster.... stick with something around 10lb and you will be happy that you don't need to rev match all the time.
