Car wobbling when driving?
Well, today i went to test drive a civic with my dad, it was a red 1993 lx , 5 speed bone stock with 101K miles, it drove good, cold a/c and everything, it's just that the car is wobbling when i was driving it. It seemed as if it was coming from the passanger front side wheel. what could this be? that car brought so many memories back of when i used to have my civic

Aftermarket wheels? They may not be installed properly, like could be missing the ring that centers the wheel on the hub if it's needed. Also could be a separated tire, or bent wheel.

does it only wobble or does it sway to one side as well?? if it sways alignment or bent frame. you should ask if the car has been in any accidents. even if the car is a clean title people dont always report their accidents

Re: Car wobbling when driving? (eeleaj)
thanks for the replys, but the car doesn't have any aftermarket wheels,so that aint the problem, it could be unbalanced tires, or bent wheels, i haven't had time to get the in depth check but i'll talk to him and see if he wants to go there tomr, and go over the thing inch by inch

bent wheels, balance, poor roadforce will cause it.
i have 2 bent wheels on my car, when they are on the front it wobbles like crazy, almost undriveable.
roadforce is either a tire that isnt perfectly round, or a wheel, or both.
so bent wheel will cause a bad roadforce reading.
go to a place that balances and checks roadforce, then you can determine which it is.
