Car will not rev past 4k.
I took my B16 out and put a single cam in this week (personal reasons). The car in the end with b16 would not rev past 4k and now it does the same with the single cam. Does anyone think the exhaust is clogged up?

so are you saying the b16 wouldnt rev past 4k, you took it out put in a single cam and it wont go past 4k either?

It did it with both. What do you mean by cells? It has been a long day at work I am not able to think right now.

It is throwing check engine. I used the same enigne harness. The harness is my CX one. I just think it is weird that this happened with both motors. I am leaning more towards clogged up exhaust.

its an ECU problem...when your VTEC cannot engage the rev limit is set much lower...make sure your VTEC oil pressure switch and solenoid are hooked up...you need to see what CEL code it is throwing

Well the single cam is a stock DX motor. So the plug for vtec is just laying there I am running a stock cx ecu now. On the B16 I was running a chipped p28. The day I was going to take the B16 out is when I had this problem. Now the DX motor is doing the same. That is why I am thinking clogged exhaust. I dunno. I have never had this problem before.

never heard of a clogged exhaust!?...jump the service wire so you can count the blinks...then tell us what the blinks are like. one long is 10...one short is one...one long 4 short means 14...
