car will not redline at 8200 unless clutch is in
ok my car is hitting redline at 6800. its supposed to be 8200. but if i push the clutch in it will go to 8200. what the hell is this. NO CEL light. in other words when i rip on it, it stops at 6800-7k but when the clutch is pushed in it will go to the 8200 like it is supposed to, any ideas

does the tach work correctly or is it off?? watch the speed compared to rpm in each cluster and go off that.

yes it works u can see it go up past 8k when clutch is in, it wont even go to 7 with it out. and i can feel the difference from when the cluster with tach was not in there. could it be the vehicle speed sensor
