Car will not crank-95 ex mt
So the other morning I walk out to start my car. And it cranks in slow motion and just stops. It now will not start cranking.
I have checked and replaced several things. I checked the battery voltage-12.7 volts. I replaced the starter (it was about to go anyways). Tested and it's getting power. I jumped the starter from the battery. It just clicks. I checked the starter cut-off relay and use the horn relay to test it. Still just clicks. I jumped the connector for the clutch safety switch as well. Still clicks...checked continuity..good. I checked the ignition switch for continuity via the fsm and it was all good. Ground near the starter seems good. I'm running out of ideas. Did I just get a crap starter? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

Take the battery into autozone, napa, etc and have it tested for dead cells. Happened on my 99 Civic a while back, same symtpom just appeared out of nowhere, tested battery and it had 2 bad cells, new battery and trouble free since then.

Clean/tighten the battery posts/connectors, the G1 battery ground attached to the chassis, and both ends of the G3 transmission ground.
