Car Turns Over Almost Starts but doesnt
I just got done replacing my water pump on my 93 honda civic 1.6l SOHC Z6, everything worked before i took out the water pump now it wont start. Followed the Haynes manual word for word and cant figure out why it still wont start. There is a really gasy smell when ever i try to turn it over. Any Ideas?

yea i would suggest MAKING sure that u didnt jump a tooth. and just a quick hint. did u take yur neg off your battery when doing this? if not. pull yur ECU off tha frame. and open it up. look for any visible burn marks. Just happened to me. i was getting the same thing. but my ecu had a dime sized burn on it.

Ill go back through and look at the belt position and all that again , i looked at the ecu and there isnt ne thing wrong with no burns as far as i could tell. One more question does ne body know of a dyno tuning shop near norther iowa or minneapolis? Just installed the Greddy turbo kiit but need to find someone that knows how to tune it. I got the car tuned enough to drive daily but want to get everything worked out just incase i missed something.
