Car troubles Maybe someone can help??? Tach Jumps Won't run well under boost
The last few days the car just doesn't run right. The tach will bounce all over when I rev it high. It does stumble or fart or anything but it just doesn't want to go fast especialy when under boost.
I ordered a new distributor. But for now I changed the cap. Still the same problem. I did notice this black box under the distributor which I think is some sort of pickup had a crack in it. Also I am running MSD ignition and coil. I plan to remove all that junk when I get the new distributor. But I am wondering if there is something else I am missing?
NEW wires plugs battery alternator and batery terminals and cables.

I agree I think thats the problem. New dizzy won't be here for a few more days but Yeah I think replacing all that stuff with a fresh NEw distributor is gonna solve it.
I'd take the MSD off right now but I lost the internal coil to put back in
