car throwing weird CEL code
Ok so i just got my car done, i am running a d16y7 with a t3/t4 50 trim turbo. so i just ran my codes from my cel (obd2) and it read a po108 which is "manifld absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit intermittent". I have no idea what that means and why it is throwing that code. Anyone have any ideas? TIA
EDIT: I am using the stock intake manifold and head so everything on the intake manifold was left untouched besides the missing link that i put in.

Its the map sensor, on my obd1 d16 its on the throttle body, not sure about yours. But thats what the code is for, and its probably because of the boost. Do you have a chipped ecu, and how much psi are you running? Stock honda ecu's dont read boost and goes into limp mode, and the map sensors are only good for around 11psi with the common t3/t4.

Re: car throwing weird CEL code (z6hatchboy)
so if i get a new map sensor do i get rid of my missing link? i am running the stock ECU with a 12:1 FMU i do plan to go to OBD1 but in the process of saving money for the conversion. so will a 4 bar map sensor fix that problem even if i am on OBD2? also i am running about 10 pounds of boost.
