Car Stolen or Towed ?
I recently moved to college and brought my car up with me. I decided that since i didnt have a parking pass yet, that id park my car in the street with TONS of other cars. As luck would have it, i parked at the end where the curb was yellow and didnt notice the yellow **** cause it was night time. So i leave. tha car sits for several days and i check on it from time to time and its okay so i left it. Friday afternoon i go to my car and what do you know ? its gone. The curb is yellow. I didnt notice any broken glass or anything, but then again i didnt look for it. The sign across the street had a number to call, so i call it and htey dont have it. Call later and its not there. University doesnt have it, and i called the other two most likely companies. I filed a stolen car report and supposedly theyll find it if it was towed, but im not sure what probably happened. My car is honestly ugly and i dont know why anyone would steal it. Its got spraypainted black DelSol VTEC wheels with a buffed silver lip, a D series, no carpet or backseat, CHEAPASS racing seats and sparco harnesses, and two gauges on the pillar. All it had that was worth a damn was a set of TEINS and a mugen shift **** (my swap threw a rod and i took all the nice **** off and kept it in the garage) my radio was in an audioconsole not even bolted in...so i dont know why it was stolen and basically i wanna know what mindset i should be in at the time and what i should do...depend on the police report to find it if it was towed ? should i bet it was towed because of the curb and the shitty condition of the car ? and would it be wise to call every towing company in the phone book...? This is just kinda shocking and i dont even have theft insurance, so i might be posting bullshit, but maybe someone on here will find it (knoxville/ UT area) or have some advice. thanks guys.
forgot to mention: 95 red civic EX coupe with no emblems but a TEIN badge on the trunk. amber corners and mugen and black tein decals on rear 1/4 faded paint and rear 1/4 damage on passenger side. cut front grill and a rear lip

Re: (JDMisGOOD)
If you called the police, they should know instantly and can tell you over the phone if it was towed.
If they don't know, then it was definitely stolen.
