as you guys probalby arleady know my car was stolen this past sunday night and still no word on the car. im pretty sure by the time they find it its pretty much gonna just be scrap so im gonna go ahead on get a jump on things (assuming that it will probably take me as long to find another car as it did to find the one i just lost). im just wondering if any of you guys in or fairly close to the Dallas area are trying to get rid of a 92-95 hb. im lookin for something thats wont need much exterior work (but still pretty much stock). let me know what you got...although im really lookin for an EG HB im still free to any other offers (CRXs, Integras, Civic coupes)...i prefer something not too pricey but something i can build on.

i saw a silver lookin EG for sale by my house. i'll see how much he wants for it. there's a 94+ teg for $2000 also. it looks in good condition. i haven't seen the inside of it but i can check it out also for you since it's jus down the street from me.

damn 2 grand for a '94 Teg??? Probably has motor problems or ridiculous miles on it. I'd still buy it regardless. As long as it has no exterior damage and the motor runs and drive, that's a bargain in my book.

Sorry for you loss man. Search, patience is the key. It's true, not alot of people are getting rid or selling EG's now-a-days. Around where I live, I'm one of the few EG's around. Good luck on your search.

thanx man...yeah its been pretty rough the past few days...especially w/o a car to roll in. ive been bummin rides like crazy and it sucks. im just hoping i dont get screwed by my insurance company. cause for some reason i have this feeling that they are gonna try to just give me money for a regular stock car. im gonna get with the dealer either today or monday and have her print me out a bill of sale saying what all was on the car so they will know the true value of the car. the insurance said i wouldnt be able to buy it back myself but i might be able to get the dealer to buy it back for me. the only thing is i really dont know what condition the motor is in so im kinda skeptical about getting it back. so like i said its all dependant on the price they want to sell it back for.

But like i said im really in need of a car asap cause they only have me on this crappy rental for a little bit and i know how hard it is to find a car cause it took me forever to find that one. again i want to bring this post to the top to see if anyone around the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area might be selling something. (EG HB, EK HB, coupe, anything that is worth doing a new project on) Im hoping to get the word next week sometime so I wanna go ahead and start lookin now. Let me know what you got guys...I prefer something like a 92-95 HB or coupe...even 96-99 HB or coupe...or just whatever you wanna throw at me...im pretty much open to anything right now.

Do you have full coverage?

Mine was stolen too and so far my insurance (State Farm )paid all my aftermarket stuff that was stolen on the car.

My rental is covered also til' the car is fixed. So check wit your insurance if your rental, aftermarkets are covered.

Then again if they are going to total it, then the rental is out of the question.

yeah i am with State Farm too and it was fully covered...i told them all the aftermarket parts that were on the car and that it had an LS B18B motor in it but i dont know how they will handle it...as for rental i have that covered too and now im stuck with a speedy toyota corolla HAHAHA. the car still wasnt paid off from the dealer and i still owed like $500 on it and they valued it at $5000-5200. i just dont know how the insurance is gonna deal with it as to how much they are gonna give me. i dont wanna get screwed over and have them give me like $3K for a DX HB . the guy sounded pretty cool and the dealer i got it from is really cool so hopefully things work out for the best.
