Car still overheating
A month ago I changed my water pump and timing belt. My car kept overheating so I finally burpt the system and it was OK. Today I kinda pounded it a little on the way to work and what the hell happens? The temp gauge starts going up!
What could be wrong? The thermostat is fine, its brand new. Could I still not have gotten all the air out of the system? How do I check if there is more air?
Could it be my radiator going bad? What else should I check?
PS, the a/c was on full blast. I had my a/c refilled a few weeks ago too. The guy who refilled it just closed off the heater hose so that it wouldn't work anymore.
Anyways, as I was driving I turned off the a/c and it cooled itself off.

How to "burp" the radiator.
Remove the radiator cap while the car is cold and leave the cap off. Fill the radiator with water until it overflows. Start the car. Let the car warm up, and keep adding water/coolant every time the level drops in the radiator. Continue to do so until the car is up to operating temperature. Put the cap on the car and be done with it.

Bad radiator or bad a/c compressor. Make sure you don't have a clogged up radiator. Did you perform a flush of the coolant system prior to installing thermostat and radiator hoses?

No smoke coming out from exhaust nor is there any mixture in the coolant.
They guy who installed my water pump/belt/thermostat also said my radiator is clogged and he recommended I get a new one.

watch out with that i don't think its the headgasket idea. I have had two have headgaskets go during the winter. You really can't tell if its burning water until its too late. Just don't be surprised is all i am saying. Fix the radiator first, and definently don't let it keep overheating.

Get the Fluidine, if you have the money, and if you really need it. Get a oem Dual core and you will be fine.

when i did my motor swapi had that same problem with my car with all net stuff on it.. it took a day to find out what it was you may want to look at the temp sensore, that cuts the fan on and off try that first be for going otu to buy a new radiator..
