car start trouble..
hey whats up guys
having trouble starting my eg. seems like the battery is dead when i go to start it the past few days. i jump it and it starts up right away. take off the positive cable while its on and the car continues running. so im guessing starter are good and alternator. i think maybe the battery has a dead cell and wont stay charged or the terminals need to be replaced. anyone got an idea?

Re: car start trouble..
Get the battery tested on a VAT or Dtac at your local parts store. They usually do that for free. Then you'll know if your batt is capable of holding a charge.
But if you say the car runs good once started then it's prolly the batt. You can also check it with a volt meter if you have one. batt voltage should be above 9.6 volts at a bare min, but it should be closer to 12.45+volts
