Default Car stalls even after replacing ICM. Help!

Hi guys, I own a 1998 EJ8 Civic with a D16Y8 engine and I'm having a lot of troubles with it. Recently the car has been stalling when it is stationary at red lights. The dash lights will come on and my car dies. It usually won't restart until a minute or so of waiting. What's more, just last night the car managed to stall whilst it was in motion but foot off the accelerator. This has never happened before and freaked me out a little because it's really dangerous to have stalled whilst the car was still moving at speed.

Another problem is that occasionally whilst cruising at speed, the check engine light comes on for half a second and I can feel the car jerk (pull me back) a bit. Is this what's know as a misfire?

I tried the shorting of the 2pin connector to check for CEL codes but I'm not getting any. Even after plugging in a scan tool, it says there are no error codes. Is it possible I have a faulty ECU? Because I've already changed my ignition coil and ignition module with a brand new one and it hasn't fixed my problems... Sorry for the long ready but any help would be greatly appreciated!

What brand ICM did you replace it with Honda or aftermarket?

Sounds more like the main relay is dying. If the main relay is powered off, the CEL will illuminate. It will also kill the ecu, injectors, and fuel pump. If the coil or ignitor dies, the engine/ecu won't know it - it will just not have spark and die.

If this happens moreso when the interior is hot, it's definately the main relay.
