car spits water out.
so i was driving my car and i noticed some antifreeze smell,so i got to where i needed to go and opened the hood and my engine bay was covered in some brown water,so i decided to put a water bottle thats connected to the reservoir hose and i found this on the way back,
why is it coming out? the car doesn't overheat or burn coolant,a few days ago i found my radiator cap on my driveway and after that it has been doing this.heres the cap.my friend said that my cap might be broken or something.

So... are you saying the coolant reservoir is overflowing with brown water? Or are you saying it's coming out of the radiator cap? I can't tell.
Either way, that coolant looks DONE, and I would replace it right away. Except I have a sneaking suspicion that you have the onset of a head gasket problem.
My theory is that cylinder compression is escaping into your cooling system and blew off the radiator cap, and is probably filling up your reservoir with oily coolant. I've seen a Civic with a head gasket problem that would spurt coolant HARD through the radiator opening when it was revved, so it's very conceivable.
Drain the oil and see what it looks like.

Re: car spit water out.
my bad,i don't have a reservoir tank,i only have the hose that goes to it that's why i put that water bottle there to see how much it would spit out,as far as the oil it looks normal(golden brown) and the car drives fine,i did some research and i found out that the radiator cap is missing a seal.
