Default car is SO STIFF! on stock shocks and suspension? blown? how do i know?

i bought my car like this a month ago and have noticed that the ride is VERY stiff but its all stock suspension/ride height.

my car has 88,xxx miles on it
do you think that my shocks could be blown?
because im soon going to be gettin koni yellows and ground controls coilovers and i was going to ride stiff but i dont know how much stiffer i could take cuz mine is riding super stiff already. i feel every little crack/bump anything on the road. like im smacking a speedbump going fast or something. but im not.

is there anyway to tell

any opinions?

thanks

Stock suspension? Push on your front bumper and see if it rebounds more than once. If it does then your shocks are worthless, but if it rebounds into place then its still good.

Your car has over 88k and its time to replace them.

does a stock eg hatch really ride that stiff though?

ive never been in anyone elses hatch just coupe

is it really stiff?

the guy above said if i push down on my bumper and it goes back up without rebounding more than once than theyre fine ..
and it only went up so acording to him they are fine?

but they seem very stiff to me.

If they rebound more than once then your shock is bad. It's suppose to rebound back to position.

well i just wanted to know if its normally like this cuz if i drop it and gotta ride stiffer than its gonna suck cuz every little thing i hit on the road now you can feel it and smacks it like its 10 x bigger than it is. then when i drop it it will be worse..oh well

what you gotta deal with for beauty and handling. haha
