Default Car smoking after exhaust?

I purchased a 2000 Si about 2 weeks ago. The car was a one owner that was an older gentleman took great care of. It is all original has never had any problems. All possible maintenence has been done including all never valvetrain. I recently bought an hks hi power muffler off a friend of mines turbo vtec killer rsx.. I deleted the cat and replaced the muffler. I drove halfway home and realized the car is smoking insanely. Dark brown/white in color. Only at or after high rpms (+3000). Overall the car seems to be running alot better. It has never smoked at a noticeable rate. The muffler came off due to engine failure on the rsx, I was told that alot of gas and oil could be built up inside causing it to smoke during high exhaust pressure. Im not new to hondas or cars at all. Thia just makes no sense to me. TIA

Yeah could be oil from the motor failing.

I'm sorry, no check engine light. The car has ran perfect since day one. It has to be the muffler being clogged from the last car it was on. It makes sense but guys, its smoking bad. I dont even want to drive it until sure. Does it make sense to you all?

take the muffler off and pour degreaser into the piping let it sit in a kiddy pool or a bathtub for 3 hours than spray it out with some water wipe off the outside put it back on and see if it still smokes if it does than your engine is the problem degreaser is like 14 dollars at pepboys for a huge bottle of purple power

judging by the "dark brown/white" smoke comment i'd say whatever gunk was in that exhaust/muffler is your problem. most likely dumped through there from the previous blown motor.

Yeah. The last car it was on was a base model rsx running a vtec killer setup that lasted two weeka before a valve spring snapped and a bunch of other stuff happened. It has been through two cars.

Does it smoke at all times? Or just when it gets warmed up? If you have an exhaust that bolts together, you could take it off all the way up to the header, and put it back together starting at the cat and putting it on a piece at a time, moving towards the muffler. If it starts smoking when you only have the header on, then you have a problem.
