car smells bad when AC on, what is the solution?
everytime I put on the AC, it smells like mold or something, anyone have this problem? what is the solution? do I can to clean something? thanks.

its probably the vents that the air comes out of, i think theres a super autobacs up north somewhere they do AC cleanup and they recharge it too i think

Underneath your car you'll find a tube that drains condensation from the system (ever notice a puddle of water underneath a car with it's AC on?). If it gets plugged, water can well up leaving a perfect environment for mold to grow, hence the smell. This is actually quite common. Try sticking a piece of wire up through the tube to loosen whatever may be blocking it.

if all functions and parts of the system are working, bacteria can grow ont he evaporator itself, and newer cars actually have a biocide coating on the evaporator for this reason, look up wynns aircofresh and use that, or a product called contracept thats what we use at my dealer i work at. they work AMAZING if you dfollow the directions to the letter
