Default Car Sitting For A While...Won't Start

Hey Guys,

I had been at school for a while and the 97' DX had been under a car cover since Thanksgiving. It wouldn't start, a check list of the things I tried...

Got a new battery recently - charged it
Checked the spark plugs seemed fine
Sprayed wd40 on all suspect belts

It went for a service before it sat. My Honda service friend thinks it could be the distributer because it almost turns over...

Anyone have experiences with this situation?

Did you oil the engine before you let it sit?

is the starter clicking? try tapping it with a long screw driver.
check your grounds, battery power plugs, spark plugs and connections, and fuel; make sure your fuel is fresh.
