i have a 93 vx hatch with a d15b7 that i just swaped a motor in & when i try to start it, it runs for a about 3 secs or less & dies. & wont start back up for a few min's.
it's getting fuel & spark, has compression. tryed changing out the dizzy,ecu,injectors,grounds,plugs & wires, fuel pump, filter & regulater.

could timing cause this? or a vacuum leak? or a bad 02 senser or wired wrong?

Deff check the timing just b/c it needs to be right anyways. Does it idle good when it does. Check the iacv to see if its plugged in, the vacuum line that goes to the fpr on the right-hand side of the fuel rail. See if pushing the gas and starting helps.

i had that same problem came to find out it was just the timing.
